In today's world, we're governed by one rule and one alone, which is essentially a game of give and take. In other words, one should only expect to get something if they give something in return. Now generally, we're the ones who initially take the first step, and this may present us with something beautiful and worth cherishing throughout our life. This is especially valuable in a time when greed and inhumanity is taking over the entire world. So it's nice to know that there are people who can still restore our faith in humanity. And while being selfless has become more of a spoken trait, certain people continue to prove it through their actions.
Zara Hamade spotted a litter of kittens with their mother under the full glare of the sun and she couldn't just leave them there.
The kind woman said, “I found Tiggie’s family outside of work in Detroit. They were in a junkyard under an old car behind the office, I heard squeaking and baby meowing. They were just born that day so they were extremely tiny!”
It was a very hot July day and it was really heartbreaking to witness the poor little felines on the ground.
“They were not afraid because they didn’t have any idea what was happening yet. The mother was very sweet and didn’t mind me being around her babies,” said Zara.
Even the mother cat knew that Zara was their guardian angel and therefore, didn't show any resistance to her.
Zara explained that, “the temperature was very hot and the mother was very aware that I was going to help her and her babies. I took them all in and had them in an empty room with a clean and comfy new bed for her to nurse them until they were old enough for adoption.”
But one little kitty has stolen the spotlight, even though all the family members are extremely adorable.
Tiggie, one of the kittens, captured his savior’s heart. The moment he received his first share of human love, he instantly fell in love with Zara. Like the saying goes, “first impression make a lasting impression,” and Zara had earned a respectable spot for herself in the entire family.
Tiggie became attached to Zara and would hop on her lap, curl up in her arms and snuggle up next to her every chance it got.
The feline’s beloved human said, “After a few weeks Tiggie was so energetic and happy and was so trusting and loving just like his mommy. He chose me and I loved him too much to let him go. He made me feel like I was his second mommy.”
